Our first pet, Herman was a spontaneous SPCA adoption in my third year of vet school in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He is my soul-kitty and quite possibly the coolest cat on planet Earth.

This handsome fella was adopted in Prince George during my first year as a young veterinarian. He was a 6 week old cone-head when I brought him home and continues to keep me on my toes 8 years later.
